NASHVILLE -- The Titans returned to the practice field on Tuesday at Saint Thomas Sports Park to continue preparations for Saturday's playoff game against the Baltimore Ravens.
Here's a look at three quick hits from Tuesday:
Facing Lamar Jackson
In preparing to face the Baltimore Ravens, Titans head coach Mike Vrabel on Tuesday put in quarterback Lamar Jackson's highlight reel during a team meeting.
Needless to say, the Titans left impressed.
"He's from Mars," Titans defensive lineman Jurrell Casey said of Jackson. "He's definitely an outer space guy. He's unbelievable. The stuff that he's doing so far this season, it's unreal."
Jackson, a Heisman Trophy winner at Louisville who is considered a favorite to win the Most Valuable Player award this season, has thrown for 3,127 yards and 36 touchdowns this season.
But he's best known for being elusive, and making defenders miss.
On the season, Jackson has rushed for 1,206 yards and seven touchdowns.
Several Titans on Tuesday compared him to former NFL quarterback Michael Vick.
"He'll juke you," safety Kenny Vaccaro said of Jackson. "You just have to get multiple guys around him. Any time you try to do a kill shot you'll probably get juked off the screen … and end up on The Checkdown on Instagram. You don't want to end up on the highlight reels or on 'C'Mon Man!' or something like that. So you have to be able to breakdown, be a sound tackler, keep your eyes up and keep moving. You just have to play hard, play fast and be physical."
Titans safety Kevin Byard agrees with Vaccaro's assessment – it will take a team effort to stop Jackson.
"I would say he's Vick 2.0," Byard said. "I was talking to my dad about it last night. I think he is faster than Vick, and he's so dynamic. I grew up watching Vick and I wanted to wear No.7 because of Vick. I think kids are growing up now wanting to be just like Lamar Jackson. He is so dynamic and a trailblazer in his own right. And facing him is a big challenge for us.
"I have been watching him all year making guys look silly out there, so we are going to have to do a good job containing this guy."
Jayon Brown Update
Titans linebacker Jayon Brown left Saturday's game in Foxborough on two separate occasions on Saturday night because of a shoulder injury.
Brown ended up watching the second half of the game against the Patriots in street clothes. He was on the practice field on Tuesday, but officially did not practice.
"I'm sore," Brown said. "It's late in the year and guys get sore at this time of year. (Being injured) is a part of the game, but guys stepped up and the defense made really good stops."
If Brown is able to play, he knows the challenge as well. Rookie David Long and veteran Wesley Woodyard both played alongside inside backer Rashaan Evans when Brown went out.
"Lamar Jackson is a remarkable player, and they've got (Mark) Ingram in the backfield and they are making it happen," Brown said. "They are flying high, and we're going to have to play our A-game. We have to swarm and tackles and make plays."
Injury Report
In addition to Brown, Titans receiver Adam Humphries (ankle), cornerback Adoree' Jackson (foot), guard Nate Davis (illness) did not practice on Tuesday.
Receiver Kalif Raymond (concussion) was a full participant at today's practice. Vrabel said Raymond remains in concussion protocol, but he's at the end of the process.
Receiver Cody Hollister (ankle) and running back Dion Lewis (shoulder) were both limited in today's session.
