NASHVILLE – Titans receiver A.J. Brown has been named the NFL's Offensive Rookie of the Month for December.
A second-round pick of the Titans in the 2019 NFL Draft, Brown had three 100-yard games in the month December.
Brown turned in a five-catch, 153-yard, two-touchdown performance in the team's win at Oakland, and he also had an eight-catch, 114-yard performance with a touchdown against the Texans in Week 15 and a four-catch, 124-yard game with a touchdown in Week 17 at Houston.
Brown also scored on a 49-yard touchdown run against the Saints in Week 16.
In the month of December, Brown had 21 catches for 470 yards and four touchdowns, in addition to his 49-yard touchdown run.
Brown finished the 2019 season with to 52 receptions for 1,051 yards and eight touchdowns. He led all NFL rookies in receiving yards, and his 20.2-yard receiving average in 2019 ranked second among all qualifying NFL players, finishing behind only the Los Angeles Chargers' Mike Williams at 20.4 yards per reception. Brown's receiving average also tied (Drew Hill, 1987) for the sixth-best figure in franchise history among qualifiers.
Brown led all rookies with five 100-yard games in 2019.
The Titans face the Patriots in the first round of the playoffs on Saturday night.
