NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Tennessee Titans Women's Association (TTWA) kicked off the season in style with a luncheon at LP Field on September 15th.

This annual luncheon serves as an opportunity for the women of the organization (wives of Titans players, coaches and staff) to get to know each other, discuss charitable projects and community efforts and offer an overview of what to expect during the season.

Marci Munchak, wife of Titans Head Coach Mike Munchak, welcomed the group and shared some highlights of her personal journey through the years that she and Mike have been with the organization when he was a player and now the head coach.  She also shared the importance of the role the women play behind the scenes and in the community.

Additionally, the team shared their comprehensive player programs and charitable efforts for the 2011 season with the group.  Titans sponsors, Pinnacle Financial Partners and Grand Avenue, were also on hand to add to the program.  It is through these luncheons that the organization hopes to communicate team efforts, events and programs in order to foster goodwill and further the Titans work in the Nashville community.

After the luncheon, the group enjoyed a unique fashion show entitled "A Tribute to Music City," with a rockin' country flair.  The show was choreographed and designed by Amy Robinson of Corral Boots, Amber Kinslow and Necole Beene of Rustic Ranch Furniture Co. & Boutique and Manny Cuevas of Wear it Out MANUEL. The Tennessean's "Shopping Diva", Cathi Aycock, was also on hand to share her shopping insight, tips and things to do around Nashville as well as interview wives about their favorite fashion looks for fall.

Pinnacle Financial Partners employees were part of the show as they modeled Nicole Dunigan and Dee Anna Dillon from Pinnacle modeled fashions during the show.fashions and visited with the group.  Behind-the-scenes, hair and makeup was provided by The Edge Salon, the official sponsor of the Tennessee Titans Cheerleaders.

"We would never have had anything like this in New Jersey," said Jeane Parlavecchio, wife of Titans assistant special teams coach Chet Parlavecchio, who is new to the organization.  "It was a great event, a great show and I absolutely loved it!  I'm buying some boots!"

The Tennessee Titans Women's Association is designed to foster comradery within the organization and in the community.  The TTWA has had a long standing tradition of giving back to various non-profit groups throughout Nashville through the organization as well as individual efforts. "It was so nice to meet the Titans staff and the other wives," said Maggie Bailey (wife of linebacker Patrick Bailey).  "For someone who is new to the group, I felt so welcomed by the Titans organization."
