NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Tennessee Titans on Friday traded their second-round pick (42nd overall) to the Philadelphia Eagles for second-round (54th overall) and fourth-round (122nd overall) selections in the 2014 NFL Draft.
The Eagles used the pick to select former Vanderbilt star receiver Jordan Matthews.
The trade occurred one year after the Titans moved up six spots in the second round in a trade with San Francisco to select former University of Tennessee star receiver Justin Hunter. The 49ers received the Titans' second and seventh-round selections in 2013 and their third rounder in 2014.
Titans general manager Ruston Webster said before the draft that he's pleased with the potential Hunter showed as a rookie but was looking for a way to get another selection this year.
