Plans for Saturday's grand opening include appearances by the Titans cheerleaders, the Titans mascot T-Rac, Titans' inflatables and ticket and merchandise giveaways. The festivities will start at 10:00 a.m. and continue until 6:00 p.m.
"This has been something we have wanted to do for a couple of years – expanding our footprint for merchandise sales," said Titans Executive Vice President Don MacLachlan. "We are excited about this opportunity to better serve our fans. We have partnered with MainGate, who has a proven track record running team stores and are thrilled to launch this new venture."
Future plans include opening a free-standing kiosk at the Cool Springs Galleria in early October and other locations are under consideration. The Titans have partnered with MainGate in this endeavor, which has similar arrangements with other NFL teams and currently runs the Titans online merchandise site, www.titanslockerroom.com.
