NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Titans will be collecting new and/or gently-used coats prior to the Titans-Browns game on Sunday at Nissan Stadium.
Fans are encouraged to bring new and/or gently-used men's, women's, children's and infants' coats to collection locations positioned outside of the stadium beginning at 10 a.m. through kickoff.
The coats will be collected by volunteers from Matthew and Camila McConaughey’s just keep livin Foundation, an organization dedicated to empowering high school students by providing them with the tools to lead active lives and make healthy choices for a better future.
The Titans, in conjunction with the just keep livin Foundation volunteers, will then sort and distribute the coats to local non-profit agencies, specifically Saint Thomas Midtown, Room in the Inn, Salvation Army, Catholic Charities, Nashville Drug Court Support Foundation, Martha O'Bryan Center, YWCA Nashville & Middle Tennessee, Thistle Farms, Radical Mission, Nashville Rescue Mission and Bridge Ministries.
"Our fans continue to be exceedingly supportive of our various game day drives and we know this week's coat drive will be no exception," Community Relations Director Tina Tuggle said. "Last season, our fans donated several hundred coats and helped many remain warm throughout the winter months."
