NASHVILLE, Tenn. – This past weekend the Titans participated in the sixth annual 104.5 The Zone SportsFest at the Music City Center. SportsFest provides middle Tennesseans with an interactive family experience where children and adults can play, explore and learn just about everything related to sports and physical activities.
The Titans welcomed hundreds of children with their NFL PLAY 60 obstacle course that challenged participants to show off their speed, balance and agility skills, while promoting the importance of being physically active each day. Once the course was completed, each child received a special Titans PLAY 60 prize with several children winning even bigger prizes raffled off throughout the day. Some participants had so much fun they ran through the obstacle course multiple times!
Titans fans were also able to interact with Taylor Lewan and Zach Mettenberger, who were two of the featured guests on the main stage during the event.
"Over the last six years, SportsFest has given middle Tennessee sports fans an outlet to meet their favorite players, find out about their favorite teams, and learn about getting active and living healthy," said Cumulus Nashville Market Manager, Allison Warren.
The Titans PLAY 60 campaign encourages young people to get at least 60 minutes a day of physical activity in an effort to help fight childhood obesity. For more information on the NFL PLAY 60 initiative please visit www.nflrush.com/play60.
