NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Tennessee Titans have signed T Jeff Adams to the practice squad.
Adams (6-foot-7, 305 pounds) originally entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Dallas Cowboys in 2012. He was waived following his first training camp and was signed to the Cincinnati Bengals practice squad, where he spent the majority of the 2012 season.
At the conclusion of the season, he signed as a free agent with the Miami Dolphins and was with the team until the cut-down to the 53-man roster two weeks ago. Adams was a three-year starter at Columbia, where he earned All-Ivy League honors in each of those seasons as a starter.
The Titans had an opening on their practice squad after signing FB Collin Mooney to the active roster last week.
