NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Tennessee Titans have signed safety Tracy Wilson to add depth at the position.
Wilson (6-2, 203) played in the final five games of the season for the New York Jets last year, after spending six weeks on the Jets practice squad. In his limited action, he totaled four tackles and seven special teams stops. He was originally signed by New York as a undrafted free agent from Northern Illinois after going undrafted in the NFL's Supplemental Draft in 2011.
At Northern Illinois, he played in 32 games, including 17 starts at safety, during his three years on the field. Wilson recorded 171 tackles, four fumble recoveries and one interception.
Additionally, the Titans placed center Eugene Amano on injured reserve.
