NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Titans have signed running back Jeremy McNichols to the team's active roster.
McNichols had been on the practice squad for the Denver Broncos.
To make room on the 53-man roster, the Titans waived running back Dalyn Dawkins.
McNichols (5-9, 205) starred three years at Boise State, finishing with 3,205 yards rushing and 44 touchdowns. He was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2017 at No. 162 overall (fifth round), but didn't make the team's roster. McNichols landed with the 49ers' practice squad, but was released again.
He ended up with the Colts this season, and was promoted to the team's active roster. He carried the ball two times for four yards in a game vs the Texans earlier this season. He joined the Broncos in October.
McNichols joins running backs Derrick Henry, Dion Lewis and David Fluellen on the team's active roster. Fluellen has missed several weeks with a knee injury.
Also on Monday, the Titans signed cornerback Kenneth Durden back to the team's practice squad, and released offensive lineman Jordan Morgan from the team's practice squad.
The Titans face the Jaguars on Thursday at Nissan Stadium.
