NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Titans have signed cornerback Demontre Hurst and placed cornerback LeShaun Sims on Injured Reserve.

Hurst was signed by the Titans in April, and he went through training camp and the preseason with the team before being released. He worked out for the team on Thursday at Saint Thomas Sports Park, and was signed.
Hurst played three seasons with the Chicago Bears, where he played in 32 games. The 5-foot-10, 191-pound Hurst played in 10 games in 2016, with one start. He's started four games in his NFL career.
In three NFL seasons, Hurst has totaled 58 tackles and a pair of interceptions, including one in 2016. Hurst's most productive season came in 2014 when he played in 15 games totaling 39 tackles and one interception.
Sims suffered a hamstring injury in Wednesday's practice. He played in 13 games for the Titans in 2017, with 33 tackles and an interception.
