TEAM NOTES

  • The Titans' 30-27 victory at New Orleans gave the team a 3-0 record in the first preseason under head coach Brian Callahan.
  • The win evened the Titans' all-time preseason record against New Orleans at 15-15-1.
  • The Titans now own a five-game winning streak in the preseason, including a 3-0 mark in 2024 and victories in their final two preseason games in 2023.
  • The Titans will begin the regular season with a road trip to play the Chicago Bears on Sunday, Sept. 8.
  • The Titans captains for the game were punter Ryan Stonehouse and four Louisiana natives: wide receiver Jha'Quan Jackson, running back Tyjae Spears, defensive back Shyheim Carter and center Lloyd Cushenberry III.
  • The majority of the Titans' regular starters on offense were in the lineup. The starters included quarterback Will Levis; running back Tony Pollard; tight ends Chig Okonkwo and Nick Vannett; wide receivers Calvin Ridley and Treylon Burks; left tackle JC Latham; left guard Peter Skoronski; center Lloyd Cushenberry III; right guard Dillon Radunz; and right tackle Nicholas Petit-Frere.
  • The defensive starters were cornerbacks Jarvis Brownlee Jr. and Roger McCreary; safeties Amani Hooker and Quandre Diggs; inside linebackers Kenneth Murray Jr. and Jack Gibbens; outside linebackers Rashad Weaver and Jaylen Harrell; and defensive linemen T'Vondre Sweat, Keondre Coburn and Sebastian Joseph-Day.
  • Twenty-one players on the Titans roster did not participate in the game.
  • The starting offensive line was on the field for all four possessions through the first two quarters, which resulted in a touchdown, two field goals and a missed 58-yard field goal attempt as time expired in the first half.
  • The Titans did not attempt a punt until the second-to-last play of the third quarter.
  • For the third consecutive week, the Titans won the time-of-possession battle by more than 10 minutes, controlling the ball for 35 minutes and 51 seconds, compared to 24 minutes and 9 seconds by New Orleans. The Titans finished the preseason with an average time of possession of 36:20.
  • The Titans offense totaled a preseason-best 445 yards, including 171 rushing yards and 274 net passing yards.
  • The Titans allowed six sacks in three preseason games, including two sacks in the second half at New Orleans. They allowed only one total first-half sack during the three preseason contests.
  • The Titans defense limited the Saints to three conversions on 10 total third-down attempts. Their three preseason opponents were nine-of-30 on third down (30.0 percent).

WR TYLER BOYD

  • Saw action during the first two offensive drives of the game.
  • Picked up 22 yards in the first quarter on his first catch of the preseason.

WR TREYLON BURKS

  • Started and posted one reception for 11 yards.
  • Finished the preseason with two receptions for 23 yards in two games.

S QUANDRE DIGGS

  • Started in his Titans preseason debut.

K NICK FOLK

  • Made his only field goal attempt from 39 yards and also made his only extra point attempt.

CB ERIC GARROR

  • Totaled 39 yards on two punt returns, including a 22-yarder to the New Orleans 25-yard line to put the Titans in position for the game-winning drive in the fourth quarter.
  • Added a pass defensed on defense.

RB HASSAN HASKINS

  • Accounted for 31 rushing yards and tied for the team lead with 10 rushing attempts.

WR JHA'QUAN JACKSON

  • Returned two kickoffs for 49 yards and returned two punts for 19 yards.
  • Added a six-yard reception.
  • Led the team during the preseason with 59 yards on four punt returns (14.8 avg.) and ranked second on the club with 68 yards on three kickoff returns (22.7 avg.).

QB WILL LEVIS

  • Directed the offense for the first two possessions, resulting in a touchdown and a field goal. He completed seven of eight passes for 118 yards with a passer rating of 118.8.
  • Completed his first seven passes of the game.
  • Led a nine-play, 84-yard touchdown drive on the team's first possession. On the drive, he completed all four of his passes for 65 yards, including 22-yard passes to both Nick Vannett and Tony Pollard.
  • Tossed a 33-yard pass to Calvin Ridley during the offense's second possession, which was a nine-play, 57-yard drive that resulted in a field goal.
  • During the preseason, he appeared in two games and led four total drives, which resulted in three touchdowns and one field goal. His preseason statistics included 11 completions on 13 attempts (84.6 percent) for 153 yards with a team-best 115.7 passer rating.

TE DAVID MARTIN-ROBINSON

  • Led the offense with four receptions and ranked second with 45 receiving yards.
  • Caught a 21-yard pass from Mason Rudolph in the second quarter.
  • Led the Titans during the preseason with nine receptions and 113 receiving yards.

K BRAYDEN NARVESON

  • Made two of his three field goal attempts and both of his extra point attempts. He was good from 26 and 31 yards and missed from 58 yards.
  • Finished the preseason with a team-high 20 points. He was six-of-seven on field goals, with his only miss coming from 58 yards at New Orleans.

TE CHIG OKONKWO

  • Made his second appearance of the preseason and notched his first start.

WR BRYCE OLIVER

  • Led the team with 52 receiving yards and two touchdowns on three total receptions.
  • Caught a 34-yard touchdown pass from Malik Willis in the fourth quarter, and later, with 1:25 on the clock, he caught the game-winning five-yard touchdown pass from Willis on fourth-and-one.
  • Finished the preseason with eight receptions for 90 yards and two scores.

RB TONY POLLARD

  • Started and totaled five carries for 17 yards and a touchdown. He added two receptions for 27 yards, giving him 44 scrimmage yards.
  • Scored on a one-yard plunge to cap the team's first offensive series. On the drive, he totaled 17 yards on five rushing attempts in addition to 13 yards on one reception.
  • Converted a fourth-and-one with a 14-yard reception.
  • During the preseason, he appeared in two games and totaled 52 yards on nine carries in addition to four receptions for 38 yards.

OLB SHANE RAY

  • Totaled three tackles, including a sack.
  • Credited with a 16-yard strip-sack in the third quarter, when he knocked the ball out of the hands of Saints quarterback Jake Haener.

WR CALVIN RIDLEY

  • Started and totaled 39 yards on a pair of receptions.
  • Caught a 33-yard pass from Will Levis in the first quarter.
  • Finished the preseason with three catches for 61 yards in two appearances.

QB MASON RUDOLPH

  • Entered the game in the second quarter and completed 11 of 15 passes for 114 yards, amounting to a 94.9 passer rating.
  • Finished the preseason with a team-high 365 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions on 31-of-49 passing. His passer rating over three games was 92.6.

RB JABARI SMALL

  • Led the offense with 64 rushing yards on 10 attempts, including a 20-yard run in the fourth quarter. He added a 12-yard reception.
  • Led all Titans running backs during the preseason with 95 rushing yards on 27 attempts.

RB TYJAE SPEARS

  • Carried the ball four times for 12 yards and added a 12-yard reception.

P RYAN STONEHOUSE

  • Saw live action for the first time since suffering a season-ending knee injury on Dec. 3, 2023.
  • Recorded two punts for a 43.5-yard average and a 35.5-yard net average with one punt placed inside the 20.

TE NICK VANNETT

  • Started and totaled two receptions for 30 yards.
  • Turned a screen pass into a 22-yard gain in the first quarter.

WR NICK WESTBROOK-IKHINE

  • Caught one pass for 13 yards.
  • Finished the preseason with 33 yards and a touchdown on three catches.

LB JAMES WILLIAMS

  • Led the defense with six total tackles.

QB MALIK WILLIS

  • Entered the contest in the third quarter and completed three of four passes for 51 yards and a pair of touchdowns. His passer rating was 156.2. He added 29 rushing yards on three attempts.
  • Rushed for 15 yards and a first down on a designed run in the fourth quarter.
  • Completed a 34-yard touchdown pass to Bryce Oliver in the fourth quarter and later led the Titans on a game-winning, two-minute drive. The offense took possession at the New Orleans 25-yard line before he rushed for an 11-yard gain. On fourth-and-one, he found Oliver for the game-winning, five-yard touchdown pass with 1 minute and 25 seconds on the clock.
  • Finished the preseason with completions on 20 of 27 pass attempts for 205 yards and a team-high two touchdowns with one interception. His preseason passer rating was 104.7.
  • Led the Titans in the preseason with 101 rushing yards on 11 attempts.
