The youngest and newest Titans became coaches for the afternoon, leading young people from YMCA/Y-CAP, Youth Villages and Youth Encouragement Services through the same drills that the players have done since arriving as draft picks and free agents last month.

The afternoon is an opportunity the Titans look forward to each year as a way to deliver the NFL's Play 60 message that encourages young people to get 60 minutes of physical activity a day and make healthful choices.

Receiver Justin Hunter said he and his fellow rookies enjoyed hitting the field for a fun day of activities that doubled as a way to build camaraderie with each other and teach the youth more about football.

"It's cool because some of them play basketball or different sports so they get a taste to see what we do, and they really don't have any cleats on so they're slipping everywhere," Hunter said.

Hunter, Chance Warmack and other rookies enjoyed demonstrating the drills to the young people and coaching small groups through rotating activities that brought smiles to the faces of the young people, the players, coaches and Titans staff members.

Titans coach Mike Munchak welcomed the groups to the team's facility before they went through a series of exercises, football drills, relay races and tug of war. Munchak said the day is a good reminder to people of all ages about the importance of staying physically active.

"I think it's a great opportunity for the young players that we have to get involved in the program and encourage the young kids to get used to playing 60 minutes a day," Munchak said. "It gives us a chance to bring them over here, see our facility and work with the players and do some fun games and realize you can have a lot of fun hanging out with your friends."
