NASHVILLE – The Titans have released veteran receiver Adam Humphries.

On Thursday, the team also parted ways with defensive backs Chris Milton and Breon Borders.

Meanwhile, the Titans signed defensive lineman Jullian Taylor, who spent the past three seasons with the San Francisco 49ers.

Humphries, who joined the Titans as a free agent in 2019, had tough luck from an injury standpoint during his time in Tennessee.

Humphries played in 12 games during the 2019 season while dealing with an ankle injury during the latter portion of the season. In 2020, Humphries played in just seven games after suffering a concussion in the team's November 1 game at Cincinnati.

In two seasons with the Titans, Humphries caught 60 passes for 602 yards and four touchdowns. His biggest highlight was making the game-winning catch in the team's comeback win over the Chiefs during the 2019 regular season.

Milton did most of his work on special teams during his time with the Titans, while Borders was called on to play in six games, including five starts, for the Titans in 2020 before finishing the season on Injured Reserve.

A seventh-round draft pick of the 49ers in 2018, the 6-foot-5, 280-pound Taylor played in 12 games during his time with the 49ers, and he tallied 16 tackles and a fumble recovery in those contests. Taylor, who played collegiately at Temple, spent the 2020 season on the Physically Unable to Perform list before being waived.
