NASHVILLE - The Titans have claimed offensive lineman Elijah Nkansah off waivers.
The Colts waived Nkansah on Wednesday.
Nkansah (6-5, 315) was signed by the Colts to a reserve/future contract on January 12, 2021. He previously spent time with the Houston Texans (2019-20), Seattle Seahawks (2018-19) and Tennessee Titans (2018).
Nkansah (pronounced en-CON-zuh) was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Titans in 2018, but was released after training camp. He played in one game for the Seahawks during the 2018 season.
In 2020, Nkansah spent the entire season on the Texans' practice squad.
Nkanash played collegiately at Toledo. As a senior at Toledo in 2017, he started in all 14 games at left tackle, and he was named first team All-MAC as the Rockets went 11-3 and won the MAC Championship Game.
