NASHVILLE – The Titans released three players on Thursday, including a pair of offensive linemen.
Guard Rodger Saffold, a Pro Bowler in 2021 who played the past three seasons with the Titans, is among those being let go by the team. Saffold started 46 games for the Titans over the past three seasons after spending his first nine NFL seasons with the Rams.
Offensive lineman Kendall Lamm and running back Darrynton Evans have also been released by the team.
Lamm joined the Titans last offseason after playing previously with the Texans (2015-2017) and Browns (2019-2020). Lamm played in 12 games with the Titans in 2021, with one start.
Evans was a third-round draft pick of the Titans in the 2020 NFL Draft who was plagued by injuries over the past two seasons. Evans played in just six games during the past two seasons and he ran for 61 yards on 16 carries while also catching four passes for 38 yards and a touchdown in those contests.
