NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Tennessee Titans claimed outside linebacker Jonathan Massaquoi off waivers from the Atlanta Falcons and released safety Bernard Pollard.
Massaquoi (6-2, 264) has 39 games of NFL experience over three years with the Falcons. He totaled six sacks and 11 tackles for loss in his first three seasons. Massaquoi was a fifth-round selection by the Falcons from Troy, where he started 25 games and totaled 19.5 sacks.
Pollard joined the Titans prior to the 2013 season and played in 21 games over the past two seasons. He started the first five games this past season before injuring his Achilles and missing the remainder of the season. He was the team's leading tackler for the 2013 season.
