NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Titans have re-signed cornerback Demontre Hurst.
Hurst was initially signed by the Titans in April, and he went through training camp and the preseason with the team before being released. He was then re-signed in December before being released.
Hurst played three seasons with the Chicago Bears (2014-16), where he played in 32 games. The 5-foot-10, 191-pound Hurst played in 10 games in 2016, with one start. He's started four games in his NFL career.
In three NFL seasons, Hurst has totaled 58 tackles and a pair of interceptions, including one in 2016. Hurst's most productive season came in 2014 when he played in 15 games totaling 39 tackles and one interception.
His presence gives the team added depth and competition this offseason.
