NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Another big, physical running back from the University of Alabama is headed to the NFL.

This time it's Bo Scarbrough, who said he's received some advice from Titans running back Derrick Henry, who won a Heisman Trophy with the Crimson Tide.

"Derrick is a little bit bigger than I am," Scarbrough said at the NFL Combine. "I feel like I'm slimmer and could move side to side quicker than he could. But, you know, Derrick is a fantastic player. He came in and helped the Titans – he did what he had to do. He came in with the work ethic. He's a great player.''

Henry led the Titans with 744 rushing yards and five touchdowns in 2017. In his first two NFL seasons, Henry has 1,234 yards and 10 touchdowns, on 286 carries. He was drafted in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft after racking up a school-record 3,591 yards and 42 rushing touchdowns at Alabama.

Scarbrough weighed in at 6-foot-1, 232 pounds at the Combine in Indianapolis.

At Alabama, Scarbrough ran for 1,512 yards and 20 touchdowns in his career, including 596 yards and eight touchdowns in 2017, and 812 yards and 11 touchdowns in 2016. Tide. He was clocked at a 4.52 in the 40. The 247-pound Henry ran a 4.54.

This year's draft class is packed with running backs, led by Penn State's Saquon Barkley. LSU's Derrius Guice, USC's Ronald Jones II, and two running backs from Georgia -- Sony Michel and Nick Chubb – round out NFL Network draft analyst Mike Mayock's top five at the position.

Scarbrough said big backs like himself -- and Henry -- have value.

"Backs like us, we bring the power to the game," Scarbrough. "We can get those extra two, three yards that a team actually needs. It's kind of a coaching decision so we have no control over how they use the running backs. We can only control what we can control."

Scarbrough said Henry helped prepare him for what's next.

"When he came back (to campus) last year we worked out together. We did lunch together. We talked about things, like what to expect in the Combine situation," Scarbrough said of Henry.

"He said that you've got to have a level head. The process is a grind. You're going to be tired. You have to just get through it and have a strong mindset. I appreciate that, coming from him."
