Titans/Ravens game notes

RAVENS BEGIN FIRST THREE DRIVES ON THEIR 20: The Ravens started their first three possessions of the first quarter on their own 20-yard line.  Rob Bironas pinned them back twice with a touchback, and Craig Hentrich netted 46 yards on a punt that went for a touchback.  The score was tied at 7-7 at the end of those three drives.

GAGE GOES OVER 100:On a six-yard reception in the third quarter, wide receiver Justin Gage became the first Tennessee receiver to eclipse 100 yards in a playoff game since tight end Frank Wycheck posted 123 yards against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Jan. 11, 2003.

TITANS OUTGAIN RAVENS IN FIRST HALF: Although the score was tied 7-7 after the first half, the Titans had outgained the Ravens by 162 yards.  They totaled 256 yards against a defense that allowed an average of 324 yards per game during the regular season.  The Ravens accumulated 94 total yards in the first two quarters, including 26 rushing yards.  The Titans won the time of possession battle 18:47 to 11:13 in the first half.
