NASHVILLE, Tenn. –** Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota returned from the bye week refreshed, and in a much better place physically.

The hamstring injury he suffered on October 1 no longer restricts him the same way it did in previous weeks.

"I feel good," Mariota said after Wednesday's practice. "It was nice to get some time off. My body is feeling good, and it is nice to get back to football."

The week off also allowed Mariota and others a chance to reflect on the first seven games, while also looking ahead.

The Titans head into Sunday's game against the Ravens with a 4-3 record.

"Just taking a step back and looking at what we have done," Mariota said, "we haven't accomplished anything. We are 4 and 3, and we are in the thick of it in our division. But that's not where we want to be. We want to finish on top, we want to be in the playoffs, and we want to do all those types of things.

"In order to do that we'll have to be better on third down as an offense. We'll have to be better in the red zone as an offense. I think guys understand that, and looking back on it guys did have some time to reflect and I think going forward we should be better."

In six games this season, Mariota has completed 110 of 176 passes for 1,301 yards, with four touchdowns and four interceptions. Mariota also has 124 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 23 carries, but he has just three carries for eight yards since suffering the injury vs the Texans.

Mariota played at less than 100 percent in wins over the Colts and Browns in previous weeks. He missed the team's game at Miami on October 8.

"I just (want) to go out there and if there is an opportunity to run, I'll do it," Mariota said. "If I have to get outside the pocket and make a throw, I'll do it. When all is said and done I'll just do what is best for the team."

Mariota should benefit from the return of receiver Corey Davis, the fifth overall pick of the NFL Draft.

Davis has missed the past five games with a hamstring injury.

"First of all he is explosive," Mariota said of Davis. "And when you get the ball in that guy's hands, he is very dynamic and can do a lot of different things. When you have a guy like that it just adds an extra dimension to your team."
