NASHVILLE – The Titans on Friday promoted defensive back Daryl Worley to the team's 53-man roster.
Worley played the past three contests as a gameday elevation. He started last Sunday's game at Houston in place of safety Amani Hooker, who was ruled out because of an illness.
In three games this season, Worley has been credited with five tackles, and a pass defensed.
The Titans signed Worley to the team's practice squad earlier this season.
The 6-foot-1-inch, 210-pounder was originally drafted by the Carolina Panthers in the 2016 NFL Draft. Prior to this season, he appeared in 90 games with seven different teams over seven seasons. Prior to his arrival in Tennessee, the West Virginia product tallied 284 tackles, two sacks, five interceptions, 11 tackles for loss, one fumble recovery, 40 passes defensed and eight special teams tackles.
The Titans face the Commanders on Sunday in Landover, Maryland.
