NASHVILLE, Tenn. —The Titans have promoted defensive back Curtis Riley from the practice squad to the team's 53-man roster.
Riley, originally signed as an undrafted free agent after the 2015 NFL Draft, has worked at both cornerback and safety with the Titans. He adds depth in the secondary, and also on special teams.
Riley spent his entire rookie season on Injured Reserve after suffering an ankle injury in training camp last August.
To make room for Riley, the Titans officially placed guard Chance Warmack on IR. Warmack suffered a torn finger tendon in his right hand in Sunday's win over the Lions, and opted to have surgery.
Also on Thursday, the Titans added guard Karim Barton to the team's practice squad. Barton (6-3, 313) has spent time with the Texans, Eagles and Browns. He played collegiately at Morgan State.
