NASHVILLE – The Titans have placed kicker Caleb Shudak on the team's Reserve/PUP list.
Under a change in NFL rules this season, Reserve/PUP requires player to miss at least the first four games of the season. Following the fourth game, a player on Reserve/PUP, would be eligible, if designated by the club, to return to practice and the active roster.
Shudak, signed as an undrafted free agent from Iowa back in May, began training camp on the team's Physically Unable to Perform list.
During the offseason, Shudak made 19 of his 24 kicks in practices before suffering an injury on a field goal attempt.
The Titans have kicker Randy Bullock on the roster, and he's been solid.
Bullock is 3-of-3 on his field goal attempts in the team's two preseason contests, and 2-of-2 on extra points.
In training camp practices, Bullock has made 67 of his 73 attempts.
As a result of today's roster move, the Titans are now at the NFL roster limit of 80 players by today's deadline.
All NFL teams must be down to 53 players by next Tuesday.
