NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Tennessee Titans on Wednesday announced that they placed Keyunta Dawson on injured reserve and signed Pannel Egboh at defensive end.
Dawson injured his hamstring during the Titans' 44-41 overtime victory against the Detroit Lions Sunday.
Egboh spent the offseason with the Titans and earned a spot on the Titans' initial 53-man roster out of training camp. He was inactive, however, in the season opener against New England and waived on Sept. 11.
Egboh, spent his first NFL training camp in San Francisco in 2009. He spent time with Houston and Philadelphia before joining Tennessee's practice squad in December 2010. Egboh spent the entire 2011 season on the Titans' practice squad.
Dawson joined the Titans this offseason and won a spot in training camp. The six-year veteran tallied five tackles in his first two games with Tennessee.
