NASHVILLE – The Titans are seeing some positive developments in the injury department.
On Wednesday, the Titans moved linebacker Jayon Brown, outside linebacker Derick Roberson and center Aaron Brewer to the team's "Designated for Return from Injured Reserve" list.
This designation opens up a 21-day window for all three players to practice with the team, and they will not count against the team's 53-man roster until being activated from Injured Reserve.
Brown hasn't played since the team's October 3 game against the Jets, while Roberson has only played in one game this season, the opener against the Cardinals. Roberson was inactive for two games before being placed on Injured Reserve. Brewer has also been sidelined since the October 3 game at the Jets.
Also on Wednesday, the Titans signed running back Dontrell Hilliard to the team's practice squad.
Hillard, who played in college at Tulane, has spent time with the Browns (2018-2020) and Texans (2020) in his NFL career. He's played in 32 career games, and as 97 rushing yards and two touchdowns in his career along with 22 catches for 199 receiving yards. Hillard has also returns punts and kicks in the NFL.
As a returner, Hilliard has posted a 7.1-yard average on 15 punt returns and 23.1-yard average on 23 kickoff returns. As a college player at Tulane, Hilliard played in 47 games and rushed for 2,948 yards and 30 touchdowns.
The Titans face the Colts on Sunday in Indianapolis.
