NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Titans have signed two players following the team's minicamp this week - receiver Brandon Shippen and defensive back Jarell Carter.
Both players practiced with the team over the past two days.
To make room on the 90-man roster, the Titans waived receiver Zach Pascal and defensive back Jeremy Boykins.
Shippen (5-11, 196) entered the NFL as an undrafted college free agent in 2016 with the Miami Dolphins. He has spent time with the Dolphins, Los Angeles Rams (2017) and Kansas City Chiefs (2018). Starting his career as a cornerback at Temple, he played wide receiver for his final two seasons with the Owls. He totaled 32 receptions for 453 yards and two touchdowns during his college career.
Carter (5-10, 196) was signed as an undrafted college free agent last year by the Arizona Cardinals and spent the final two months on their practice squad. A three-year starter at Trinity International University, he totaled 156 tackles, six interceptions and 22 pass breakups during his college career.
The Titans wrapped up minicamp on Wednesday. The team is scheduled to begin training camp in late July.
