NASHVILLE – The Titans have promoted kicker Matthew Wright from the team's practice squad to the 53-man roster.
Wright will kick in the team's game at Jacksonville on Sunday after the team previously ruled out veteran kicker Nick Folk.
The Titans have also signed guard Arlington Hambright and linebacker Raekwon McMillan to the active roster.
The team released defensive backs Tre Avery and Gabe Jeudy-Lally from the active roster.
Tackle Chandler Brewer and defensive back Gervarrius Owens will be gameday elevations from the practice squad ahead of Sunday's game. They'll revert to the practice squad after the contest.
Also on Saturday, the Titans downgraded running back Tony Pollard (ankle/illness) and safety Amani Hooker (shoulder) to OUT for Sunday's game.
Wright (5-11, 174) has played in 27 career NFL games over parts of five seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers (2020, 2022), Jacksonville Jaguars (2021), Kansas City Chiefs (2022, 2024), Carolina Panthers (2023) and San Francisco 49ers (2024). The University of Central Florida product has connected on 51 of 59 career field goals (86.4 percent) and 40 of 42 extra point chances for 193 career points. In 2024, he has made good on 11 of 12 field goals and all five extra point opportunities with San Francisco (one game) and Kansas City (two contests).
Kickoff for Sunday's game in Jacksonville is scheduled for noon CT.
