Titans/Jets game notes

• The Titans suffered their first loss in the regular season since an overtime loss to the San Diego Chargers on Dec. 9, 2007, ending a 13-game regular season winning streak and a six-game winning streak at LP Field.
 
• Kyle Vanden Bosch registered his 3.5th sack of the season and the 39.5th of his career when he took down Brett Favre in the first quarter. Vanden Bosch shared the sack with Albert Haynesworth.
 
• Albert Haynesworth registered his 7.5th sack of the season and the 23rd of his career when he took down Brett Favre in the first quarter. Haynesworth also forced his 3rd fumble of the season and the 6th of his career on the play. Haynesworth shared the sack with Kyle Vanden Bosch on the play.
 
• Albert Haynesworth posted one-and-a-half sacks in the first half, giving him a career-high 8.5 sacks this season.

• LB Keith Bulluck started his 108th consecutive game, the longest active streak of any Titans player.

• P Craig Hentrich surpassed Rohn Stark for eighth place in NFL history among punters by playing in his 234th career game. • Jevon Kearse forced his 2nd fumble of the season and the 31st of his career when he stripped Leon Washington on the last play of the first quarter. Kevin Vickerson recovered the first fumble of his career on the play.
 
• With a 24-yard carry in the second quarter, running back Chris Johnson became the seventh player in franchise history to reach 1,000 scrimmage yards in his rookie season and the first since Eddie George (1,550) in 1996. The other rookies to previously accomplish the feat were Earl Campbell (1,498), Bill Groman (1,473), Sid Blanks (1,253), Ernest Givins (1,210) and Rodney Thomas (1,151).
 
• Cortland Finnegan intercepted his 5th pass of the season and the 6th of his career when he picked off Brett Favre in the second quarter.
 
• Bo Scaife established a career-high for most receptions in a season, breaking his previous high of 46 catches in 2007.
 
• With a 49-yard field goal in the fourth quarter, kicker Rob Bironas reached 100 field goals in his career. He became the third kicker in team history to reach 100 field goals, joining Al Del Greco (246) and Tony Zendejas (117).
 
• Ahmard Hall scored the first touchdown of his career on a 6-yard pass from Kerry Collins, pulling the Titans to within 27-13 in the fourth quarter.
 
• Kerry Collins threw his 9th touchdown of the season and the 183rd of his career, connecting with Ahmard Hall on a 6-yard pass to pull the Titans within 27-13 in the fourth quarter.
