The W.I.N. program begins with the freshman class and focuses on each student's academic, personal and career progress throughout their high school career.
"Ahmard Hall's visit to Page High School was greatly appreciated," said Richard Herzog Page High School Defensive Coach and W.I.N. Coordinator. "He did an outstanding job addressing our freshman with issues very pertinent and relevant to their lives."
In addition, Hall spoke to the students about the importance of staying physically active, exercising, eating a healthy diet, hard work and overcoming obstacles throughout life.
The Titans are dedicated to promoting the NFL's What Moves U / Play 60 program in conjunction with the American Heart Association to get today's youth physically active. (For more information, visit www.whatmovesu.com).
In preparation of Hall's visit, the W.I.N. class conducted a Titans Trivia competition and the winner, Nick Dodson, was recognized on stage by Hall as the most knowledgeable Titans fan in the freshmen class. Ronell Griffin was a close second place finisher and greeted Hall as he arrived on campus.
Now a father of two, Hall understands the importance of this type of program at Page High School and enjoys speaking to youth about his own life experiences, hoping to inspire them.
The Titans will continue to make visits to area schools during the season as part of the Titans Tuesday program.
