As part of their new multiyear extension with Citadel Broadcasting Corporation, which owns flagship station WGFX 104.5-FM, Titans games will now be broadcast on SiriusXM NFL Radio.
The Titans, the only team not previously broadcast on satellite radio, recently agreed to multiyear extensions with their radio and local television partners.
The Titans also continued their agreement with Young Broadcasting, Inc., which owns WKRN-2. Preseason games and new head coach Mike Munchak's weekly TV show will be carried on the station.
"It is certainly a positive for our fans and for Titans fans across the country,'' Titans Executive Vice President Don MacLachlan told The Tennessean. "We feel we have one of the best radio networks in the NFL, and now to be able to supplement outside of the reach of our network on Sirius satellite radio, we think that is great."
In addition to carrying NFL games, SiriusXM delivers 24/7 NFL news, talk and expert opinion.
