TITANS SCORE ON OPENING DRIVE: For the first time in 2011, the Titans scored on their opening drive of the game. They marched 69 yards on 13 plays, capped by a 29-yard field goal by Rob Bironas.
FINNEGAN RECORDS INTERCEPTION: With the Steelers driving late in the first half, cornerback Cortland Finnegan recorded his first interception of the season and the 14th interception of his career.

VERNER RECOVERS SURPRISE ONSIDE KICK: After Chris Johnson's one-yard touchdown run in the third quarter, Rob Bironas attempted a surprise onside kick. Alterraun Verner was there for the recovery for the Titans.
BLOCKS PUNT: In the fourth quarter, Titans special teams captain Tim Shaw bolted through Pittsburgh's line and blocked a punt by Daniel Sepulveda. It was the first block of his career and the team's first blocked punt since Nick Schommer's block at San Diego on Oct. 31, 2010.
HASSELBECK AND WILLIAMS CONNECT ON TOUCHDOWN FOR SECOND CONSECUTIVE WEEK: Wide receiver Damian Williams scored a touchdown for the second consecutive week on a pass from Matt Hasselbeck. The duo connected in the fourth quarter against the Steelers for a 19-yard score, one week after Williams scored his first career touchdown on a pass from Hasselbeck.
HASSELBECK WITH NINE TOUCHDOWN PASSES IN FIVE WEEKS: Matt Hasselbeck's touchdown pass to Damian Williams against the Steelers was Hasselbeck's ninth touchdown pass in five games in 2011. That ties his career high through the first five games of a season. He also had nine touchdown passes in the first five games of 2006.
WILLIAMS, RINGER SET CAREER HIGHS IN RECEPTIONS: Wide receiver Damian Williams and running back Javon Ringer each tied for the team lead and set new career highs with six receptions against the Steelers.
