NASHVILLE, Tenn. --Last fall the Titans rookies, cheerleaders, staff and T-Rac joined forces with Catholic Charities of Tennessee and Second Harvest Food Bank to distribute food to needy Nashville residents at the team's annual Hometown Huddle event.  In appreciation for the great work done each and every day by those charities for our less fortunate neighbors, Titans Owner K.S. "Bud" Adams, Jr. provided $5,000 in grants to those two charities.

Heidi Tieslau, Community Relations Director for Second Harvest, and Bill Sinclair, Executive Director of Catholic Charities of Tennessee, received the grants from Mr. Adams from members of the Titans Community Relations staff.  Bob Hyde, Titans VP-Community Relations, and Joshua Love, Titans Community Relations Assistant, presented Mr. Adams' gifts to the two charities on Friday.

"It is always an honor to represent Mr. Adams at these events," said Hyde. "He continues to stress to all of us within the organization the importance of giving back to the community that supports our team so well."

The Titans have partnered with Second Harvest with annual food drives at LP Field every season since 1999 and have recently begun to work with Catholic Charities on their twice-monthly food distribution programs as well.
