NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Tennessee Titans signed three players to fill out their practice squad – LB Justin Staples, LB Jason Ankrah, CB B.W. Webb.
Ankrah (6-3, 262) was originally signed by the Houston Texans as an undrafted college free agent in 2014. He split last season between the Texans practice squad and active roster, playing in two games. Ankrah was a three-year starter at defensive end for the University of Nebraska, and totaled 81 tackles, 18 tackles for loss and seven sacks.
Webb (5-11, 190) was a fourth-round pick by the Dallas Cowboys in 2013. He played in 15 games for the Cowboys in 2013 and was claimed off waivers by the Steelers prior to the start of the 2014 season. Last year for the Steelers, he played in 11 games. For his NFL career, he has recorded 12 tackles and six special teams stops. He was a four-year starter at William & Mary, where he tallied 11 interceptions during his career.
Staples returns to the team after being waived Sunday.
