NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Titans defensive tackle Jurrell Casey and cornerback Alterraun Verner received enough votes from a national media panel of 50 members to be named to the Associated Press 2013 NFL All-Pro Second Team.

It is the first time either player has received the honor.
Casey, a third-year pro, led the Titans with 10.5 sacks in 15 games played and started. He missed the season finale because of a knee injury but nearly doubled the 5.5 sacks he had in his first two seasons combined.
Casey tied for 16th in the NFL in sacks and tied for second among defensive tackles. He recorded two sacks in games at Pittsburgh, at St. Louis and at Indianapolis and had 1.5 sacks against Arizona. He had a career-high 90 tackles (49 solo), and career-bests of 10 quarterback pressures and three pass deflections this season.
Verner, who received enough votes to be selected to his first Pro Bowl, led the Titans with a career-high five interceptions, tying for the AFC lead and tying for fifth in the NFL. Verner also had a career-high 26 passes defensed, nearly matching the 31 he had in his first three seasons.
