NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Titans continued to add depth to their secondary with their final pick in the draft, selecting Nebraska safety Daimion Stafford with the 248th overall pick.
Stafford was a junior college standout at Chaffey College, where he intercepted nine passes from 2009-10, before transferring to Nebraska.
In 2012, he earned first-team All-Big Ten honors after recording 96 tackles, four interceptions and seven passes defensed for the Cornhuskers. In 2011, he tallied 80 tackles and a team-high 10 passes defensed, earning honorable mention honors in the Big Ten.
Known for his solid build, closing speed and hard-hitting style, Stafford will now look to translate his game to the next level in the NFL.
