NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Titans found two players at the same school out of 11 selections in the 2009 NFL Draft that are still on Tennessee's roster.
Receiver Kenny Britt and cornerback Jason McCourty were drafted out of Rutgers in the first and sixth rounds, respectively. The Titans tabbed Britt with the 30th overall pick and selected McCourty from the 203rd spot.
Britt has been dynamic when he's been able to avoid injuries, and McCourty has worked his way up the depth chart to be a starter and captain of the defense in 2012.
Britt has started 27 of 45 games and made 146 receptions for 2,354 yards and 19 touchdowns. He had 42 catches in each of his first two seasons but missed all but three games in 2011 because of a torn ACL and MCL injury. Britt returned last season and started a career-high 11 games and had 45 catches.
McCourty started three games as a rookie, six in his second season, 15 the following year and all 16 in 2012. McCourty had a career-high four interceptions and 17 passes defensed last season. He added 93 tackles (79 solo) one year after recording 107 tackles.

McCourty also delivered multiple plays that swayed momentum in Titans wins against Pittsburgh, Buffalo, Miami and the New York Jets.
Marks started 23 of 30 games played in the past two seasons and had a career-high 63 tackles and 1.5 sacks in 2012. The Titans added a bigger defensive tackle, Sammie Hill, and Marks signed with Jacksonville as a free agent this offseason.
Cook's athleticism enabled him to make several impressive catches. He played in 59 games and recorded 93 of his 131 receptions for 1,282 of his 1,717 yards and seven of his eight touchdowns in the past two seasons. Cook had 44 catches last year when he suffered a shoulder injury that cost him the final three games of 2012. He signed with the Rams as a free agent this offseason and will play the Titans on Nov. 3 in St. Louis.
Mouton suffered an Achilles injury during training camp that cost him all of 2011, but returned to play 13 games and make 42 tackles in 2012. McRath made 12 starts in 40 games in his first three seasons. He was placed on injured reserve and missed all of 2012 because of a knee injury.
Injuries also minimized the opportunities for Javon Ringer, who played in 37 games and rushed 120 times for 486 yards and three TDs. He missed all but two games in 2012.
The Titans have the 10th overall pick in this year's NFL Draft and are scheduled to make nine selections during the three-day event. Click here to visit Titans Draft Central.
