Wireless phones will be collected at drop locations outside LP Field Sunday from 9:15 a.m. until 12:15 p.m.

NASHVILLE, TN, Sept. 15, 2008 — **The Tennessee Titans and AT&T are asking fans to bring their used cell phones to this Sunday's game against the Houston Texans at LP Field.

The wireless phones will be collected at drop locations outside LP Field with collection beginning at 9:30am through 12:15pm.  Once collected, the used cell phones will be recycled and the proceeds will help benefit local charities determined by AT&T.

Last year, AT&T donated 10,000 prepaid cards worth more than $270,000 for "Cell Phones for Soldiers," a joint initiative to help troops stationed overseas call their loved ones back home.  The charity purchased prepaid cards at a reduced rate to help more troops serving our country. Last season, the Titans & AT&T raised over $12,000 with the support of Titans fans during this drive.

The Tennessee Titans have had great success with their annual stadium drives and will continue to collect items this season to include Soles4Souls Shoe Drive on Sept. 28th; Titans Foundation Coat Drive on Nov. 2nd; Second Harvest Food Drive on Nov. 23rd and the US Marine Corps Toys for Tots Drive on Dec. 7th.
