TIME OF POSSESSION NEARLY 34 MINUTES: For the third time in four weeks, the Titans won the time of possession battle, maintaining control of the ball for 33 minutes and 55 seconds. It was their third-highest mark of the season, behind 35:48 the previous week (Nov. 24) at Oakland and 34:01 at Pittsburgh (Sept. 8).
THIRD-DOWN DEFENSE: The Titans defense had its second-best percentage on third down this season. The Colts converted on only three out of 14 attempts on third down, a rate of 21.4 percent. The defense's only number this season that was lower was 8.3 percent against Kansas City on Oct. 6.
MOST FIRST DOWNS SINCE 2009: The Titans produced 24 total first downs versus the Colts — 10 rushing, 11 passing and three from penalties. It was the team's highest first-down total since Dec. 6, 2009, when they likewise tallied 24 first downs at Indianapolis.

WASHINGTON GETS TO 250 WITH THE TITANS:With five receptions for a team-high 81 yards against the Colts, wide receiverNate Washingtonbecame the 13th player in franchise history to reach 250 career receptions with the team (excludes his career with the Steelers). Since signing with the Titans as an unrestricted free agent in 2009, Washington leads the team with 250 catches for 3,672 yards and 25 touchdowns. Late in the first quarter at Indianapolis, he caught a 31-yard pass fromRyan Fitzpatrick**. The play gave Washington six games in 2013 with at least one reception of 30 yards or longer.
BIRONAS REACHES 1,000: With an extra point in the third quarter, kicker Rob Bironas became the second player in franchise history and the ninth active NFL player to reach 1,000 points in his career. The only other player to reach the 1,000-yard mark for the Oilers/Titans was Al Del Greco, who had 1,060 points from 1991 to 2000. Among all current NFL players, Bironas ranks behind only Adam Vinatieri, David Akers, Sebastian Janikowski, Jay Feely, Phil Dawson, Rian Lindell, Matt Bryant and Josh Brown in career scoring.
FITZPATRICK GETS TOUCHDOWN PASS 100: In the third quarter, Ryan Fitzpatrick completed a one-yard touchdown pass to Chris Johnson. The score was the 100th touchdown pass of Fitzpatrick's career (eighth of 2013).
FITZPATRICK'S GROUND GAME: Early in the second quarter, quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick scrambled for a 16-yard gain. Three plays later, he snuck into the end zone for a one-yard touchdown run. It was his third rushing touchdown of the season — a new career high for the ninth-year veteran, who now has nine career rushing touchdowns. He finished the game at Indianapolis with eight rushing attempts for 54 yards, the second-most rushing yards of his career in a game.
CAREER HIGH FOR CHRIS JOHNSON: Chris Johnson caught a one-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter. The play gave him seven career touchdown receptions, including a career-high of three touchdown catches in 2013.

FOUR SACKS IN FIRST HALF: The Titans defense recorded four sacks in the first half, recording the unit's highest total in any half this season. Zach Brown (four sacks in 2013, 9.5 career), Derrick Morgan (five in 2013, 15.5 career), Karl Klug (two in 2013, 12.5 career) and Kamerion Wimbley (two in 2013, 50.5 career) each recorded one of the four sacks.
CASEY GETS ANOTHER SACK: In the third quarter, defensive tackle Jurrell Casey recorded his team-leading eighth sack of 2013. Entering the game, Casey was tied for second in the NFL among all defensive tackles in sacks this season. Since 1982, when sacks became an official NFL statistic, Casey's eight sacks in a season are tied for sixth for the franchise by a defensive tackle.
FIVE TOTAL SACKS: The Titans tied their season high with five sacks against the Colts, a total they previously produced Sept. 8 at Pittsburgh and Sept. 29 against the New York Jets. INTERCEPTION BY POLLARD: On Indianapolis' first drive of the game, Titans safety Bernard Pollard picked off an Andrew Luck pass to record his third interception of the season and the 12thof his career. The eighth-year veteran's 2013 total is one shy of his career high of four interceptions in 2009.
LEON WASHINGTON DEBUTS: Recent free-agent signee Leon Washington made his debut in a Titans uniform against the Colts. The two-time Pro Bowl selection, who is in his eighth NFL campaign, was signed by the Titans on Nov. 27. In the third quarter, he returned a punt 33 yards to record his longest punt return since a 52-yarder as a member of the Seattle Seahawks at Arizona on Sept. 9, 2012.
TITANS INACTIVES: The Titans' seven inactive players were quarterback John Skelton, wide receiver Damian Williams, linebacker Zac Diles, center/guard Kevin Matthews, tackle Byron Stingily, tight end Craig Stevens and defensive tackle Mike Martin.
