WALKER SETS CAREER SEASON HIGH: Delanie Walker's production against the Colts helped him establish a new career season high for receiving yards. The eighth-year veteran now has 39 receptions for 403 receiving yards and five touchdowns in 2013. His previous high for receiving yards in a season was 344 in 2012. Walker already this season had reached new highs for receptions and touchdowns.
CHRIS JOHNSON PRODUCES BIG FIRST HALF: Chris Johnson recorded 13 carries in the first half for 80 yards (6.2 avg.) and a pair of touchdowns. He put the Titans ahead early in the first quarter with a 30-yard touchdown run. Then, on the next series, he added a seven-yard touchdown run, earning his 15th career game with two rushing touchdowns. Johnson now has four rushing touchdowns in 2013 and 48 in his career. He finished the game against the Colts with 17 carries for 86 yards.
WRIGHT TIES CAREER HIGH: Wide receiver Kendall Wright tied his career high with nine receptions against the Colts. He previously caught nine passes in a game two times, most recently against the San Francisco 49ers on Oct. 20. Wright had 80 receiving yards against the Colts.
BIG PLAY BY WASHINGTON: Nate Washington recorded the longest gain from scrimmage of the evening, turning a pass from Ryan Fitzpatrick into a 42-yard reception. It was Washington's third reception in 2013 of at least 42 yards.
FITZPATRICK SETS CAREER HIGH IN COMPLETION PERCENTAGE: Quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick completed 22 of 28 passes for 222 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions for a passer rating of 111.6. His completion percentage of 78.6 set a new career high, topping his previous high of 77.8 percent (21 of 27) against the Philadelphia Eagles on Oct. 9, 2011. His evening included a 19-yard touchdown pass to Delanie Walker in the fourth quarter.
MORGAN RECORDS SACK: Late in the first half, defensive end Derrick Morgan dropped Andrew Luck for a three-yard loss to record his fourth sack of the season. The fourth-year veteran now has 14.5 sacks in his career.
TITANS SCORE 17 IN FIRST HALF: The Titans scored a pair of touchdowns and a field goal in the first half to total 17 points. It was their second-highest scoring total in the first half of 2013, behind only their 24-point first half against the Jets on Sept. 29.
TOUCHDOWNS ON FIRST TWO POSSESSIONS: For the second time in 2013, the Titans scored on each of their first two offensive possessions with a pair of touchdown runs by Chris Johnson. Earlier in the season, they scored on their opening two drives against the New York Jets, getting a touchdown and a field goal.
FIRST-DRIVE SUCCESS: For the fourth time in 2013, the Titans opened the game with a scoring drive (all touchdowns). Chris Johnson scored on a 30-yard run to open the scoring against the Colts. Previously, they opened games at Houston (Sept. 15), against the New York Jets (Sept. 29) and at St. Louis (Nov. 3) with touchdown drives.
TITANS ON THIRD DOWN: The Titans offense posted its third consecutive game with a third-down conversion rate above 50 percent. Against the Colts, the unit converted six out of 11 attempts on third down, a rate of 55 percent. The Titans were 58 percent on third down at St. Louis on Nov. 3 and 55.6 percent against Jacksonville on Nov. 10.
SPENCER'S FIRST START WITH THE TITANS: With Brian Schwenke nursing an ankle injury, Chris Spencer received the start at center. The ninth-year veteran, who was signed as a free agent during the offseason, recorded his first start in a Titans uniform and the 90th start of his career.
STEWART BACK IN STARTING LINEUP: After missing two contests with a shoulder injury, right tackle David Stewart was back in the starting lineup. He had not played since Oct. 20 against San Francisco.
TITANS INACTIVES: The Titans' seven inactive players were wide receiver Damian Williams, cornerback Tommie Campbell, linebacker Zaviar Gooden, linebacker Moise Fokou, center Brian Schwenke, tackle Mike Otto and defensive end Lavar Edwards.
