Several Titans Cheerleaders took part in the 10th annual "Light the Night" walk to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. |
The cheerleaders led the walk through downtown Nashville and helped with registration at the event, while taking photos and signing autographs for fans. Additionally, the Cheerleaders and many alumni were a part of Team "FlipnRobin" for the sixth year in memory of former Nashville Kats cheerleader, Robin Roach Towe, who passed away in 2003 due to leukemia.
The walk began and finished at LP Field and had over 2,000 participants who raised money and awareness for blood cancer. It lasted 1.75 miles and featured live music, food, and activities for participants of all ages.
The event was open to the public and participating teams paid tribute to those battling cancer, while remembering loved ones who died from the disease. To date, the campaign has raised over $325,000 for blood cancer awareness and research.
