This week's Cheer Spotlight shines on Titans Cheerleader Bristyn, a third-year veteran who started dancing at the age of nine. Bristyn is known not only for her amazing dance technique, but even more so for her remarkable voice. She spends her time off the football field touring the United States as a country artist. What is your favorite memory as a Titans Cheerleader?

My favorite memory was the Titans Uniform Reveal last April. The crowd was so pumped up, and the energy was amazing! It was truly a once in a lifetime experience.

What is your go-to karaoke song?

Lady Marmalade. I like to think Christina Aguilera and I would make a fantastic duo.

Why do you cheer?

You will hear the women on my team say that being a Titans Cheerleader leads to becoming the best version of yourself. Throughout the season, we are learning far more than just the choreography that fans see on game day. We are constantly challenged to be better people than we were yesterday. There are many character-building quotes that we use as team mottos during the season. One of my favorites, and one that I think every female should hear is, "Empowered Women Empower Women." We work every day to lift each other up and make each other better, both on and off the football field.

Standing on my head. I love learning new variations of floor stalls and showing them off whenever I can!

What is the nerdiest thing you do in your spare time?

I am a research junkie. I am constantly searching for new information on different subjects. The topics I have recently been interested in are the human brain, cars, ingredients and their objectives, chemical reactions, structures of different systems and operations! When I become interested in a certain topic, I dive in and research like crazy!

What is your favorite way to break a sweat?

I like to change it up, but I am really into weightlifting at the moment.

What is it like to be a woman in the NFL?

Empowering! It is like being a superhero with pom poms!
