It was the squad's second trip to Fort Lewis over the last season -- the first was in November -- and the sixth time the cheerleaders have visited the military base.
Fort Lewis is home to more than 25,000 soldiers and supports over 29,000 family members living both on and off post. Five year veteran of the squad, Natalie, "was absolutely stunned and amazed to see the number of soldiers that were there to meet and greet us…the line never ended!"
The ladies spent three days at the base, visiting various locations such as Starbucks and the mall to meet Titans fans, sign autographs, and spread cheer to the soldiers and their families.
"I was so excited to be able to give my time and show gratitude to those who have dedicated their life to serve our country. They are true heroes," Natalie said.
The cheerleaders also had the opportunity to train with the soldiers and learn directly from the National Guard by standing with them in their formations. They even experienced firing the simulated weapons.
Titans cheerleaders Lindsey H. and Latoya look forward to the next military visit to Fort Campbell, Ky, home of the 101st Airborne, on April 23rd.
