NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Titans Cheerleaders partnered with LP Building Products and Derksen/Weather King to host a big fan on the field during the Titans-Dolphins game on October 18.
Fourteen-year old Jacob Pinson was born with cerebral palsy and is slowly losing his sight. While he still has partial vision, David Sullivan of Derksen/ Weather King offered him the opportunity to take a trip to Nashville for a Titans game and spend time with the Titans Cheerleaders.
Jacob enjoyed a tour of the cheerleaders' locker room, an on-field pre-game photo with the ladies and high fives from each cheerleader as they ran out of the tunnel for their pre-game show.
Spending time with fans is one of the most important parts of a cheerleader's job.
"Performing on the field during the game is amazing," explains Titans Cheer captain Julia, "but the opportunity to meet Jacob, to make him feel special, to give him an incredible experience, that's what being a Titans Cheerleader is really about."
Jacob summed up his experience with one simple phrase: "That was the best day of my life."
