The Cheerleaders had several opportunities to help others have memorable Thanksgivings this year. The first came on Monday, Nov. 19, when team members participated in the Tracy Lawrence Mission Possible Turkey Fry. !

This year marks the event's second year running, and Lawrence along with friends Jason Aldean, Wade Hayes, Darryl Worley, John Rich and 3 Doors Down's Brad Arnold helped fry 560 turkeys. The goal had been 400.
Lawrence said that all of the turkeys would help provide almost 6,000 plates of food. On Thanksgiving Day, the mission usually has at least 3,000 people to feed. The event began at 11 in the morning, and wrapped up at about 5 p.m. The Titans Cheerleaders who attended were Kerry, Julia, Lindsey R., Carrie, Keriann, Meghann, Whitney, and Heather.

It has also become a tradition for the Titans cheerleaders to be present at the Nashville Rescue Mission for Thanksgiving Eve lunch. Ten cheerleaders volunteered to serve, and the hundreds of patrons present were excited to see the ladies again this year.
Says captain, Kerry: "It was such an incredible feeling to help those in need and to serve as an ambassador to the Nashville community. We all feel like Thanksgiving is a time for reflection in counting our own blessings and as Tennessee Titans Cheerleaders it is our duty to help and serve others."
This year marks the 4th year in a row for the cheerleaders to serve at the Rescue Mission and the squad had the largest turn out yet with 1/3 of the team members present. This year was a true success!
