NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- 2018 Dance Captain, Andrea, is our next Cheerleader Spotlight for the 2018 Titans season! Andrea is a three-year Titans Cheerleading veteran and is starting her first season as a dance captain.
Originally from Alabama, Andrea graduated from Auburn University and now works as a Beginning of Day Specialist in Nashville. Read on to learn more about Andrea!
What is your favorite memory as a Titans Cheerleader?
Thursday Night Football in 2016. Cheering on the field during a primetime NFL game while dressed up as the Pink Power Ranger were two childhood dreams coming true at the same time.
What Disney Princess would you be and why?
Jasmine, I have always wanted another way to quickly get around and I am convinced a magic carpet is it.
Do you have a favorite vacation spot?
Any place that is warm and has crystal clear water.
Who has been the biggest influence on your life?
My godmother. Servant, Wife, Mom and Boss…She is all of my life goals in one.
What is your favorite way to break a sweat?
Dance…duh!
Tell us a unique fact about yourself!
I am a pescatarian, which means I do not eat meat, but I do eat seafood!
What is your favorite spot in Nashville?
The Cumberland River!
What is your life motto?
"If you want something you've never had, you must be willing to do something you've never done."
What have you gained from this cheer opportunity within the NFL?
I have been able to mature as a friend, teammate, leader and as a woman. My interpersonal skills have gravely improved since I joined this team 3 years ago, and I could not be more thankful for everything that I have learned.
How was being an NFL Cheerleader helped your career?
_Being an NFL Cheerleader has opened so many doors for me and given me the ability to explore opportunities I never would have received otherwise. People realize the work ethic required to maintain this position in the NFL and are immediately eager and excited to work with someone that already has that discipline instilled in them. _
