NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Fourth year cheerleader, Kate, recently returned from a week-long excursion to Alaska with Armed Forced Entertainment and ProTour Productions in a show of support for U.S. troops. She was joined by the Titans' very own T-Rac and cheerleaders from the Colts, Bengals, Vikings, Ravens, and Chiefs as they traveled to Fort Wainwright and Eielson Air Force Base to visit with soldiers and their families.
The week had a demanding schedule of community appearances, youth cheer clinics and trips to Alaskan landmarks with the soldiers. Visiting the army bases in Alaska was a very meaningful experience for Kate, who made lifelong friends and memories throughout the process.
"It was such an incredible experience, and one that I will never forget," she said. "I cannot thank the service men and women enough for all of the sacrifices that they make."
Each year Armed Forces Entertainment and ProTour Productions organize hundreds of performances for the US military, both domestic and abroad, to boost morale among the armed service members who are stationed far from home.
