NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Fourth year Titans Cheerleader Heather was selected to represent the Tennessee Titans at this year's Pro Bowl, which takes place this week in Honolulu.
Heather serves as one of four line captains and she is originally from Alabama. After graduating from the University of Alabama with a degree in communications and public relations in 2011, Heather relocated to Nashville to pursue her dream of becoming a Titans Cheerleader.
"I've been dancing since I was a little girl, and at a very young age I knew I wanted to be a Titans Cheerleader," she explained. " But, I never imagined I'd have the opportunity to perform in Honolulu at the Pro Bowl. This is an honor that was totally unexpected and something I'll never take for granted!"
During Heather's tenure with the Titans, she traveled to Australia on a military tour with several other NFL Cheerleaders and NFL players during Super Bowl week last year. Additionally, she was one of four Titans Cheerleaders invited to Ottawa, Ontario to support NFL Canada's promotion of Thursday Night Football last season.
Heather works full time for a financial management company on Music Row and spends her free time working with various Nashville non-profits, including the Down's Syndrome Association and the Nashville Rescue Mission.
Heather departed for Honolulu today and will enjoy a week of rehearsals and public appearances leading up to the game. The Pro Bowl airs on Sunday, January 31 at 6:00pm CST on ESPN.
