Titans/Browns game notes

• Sunday's victory clinched Tennessee's first AFC South title since 2002.
 
• Sunday's victory, combined with the Jets' loss at San Francisco, secured the Titans a first-round bye in the AFC playoffs. Tennessee owns a two-game lead over Pittsburgh, which plays at Tennessee in two weeks (Dec. 21).
 
• Sunday's victory was the 15th win by the Titans in their past 16 regular season games.
 
• Sunday's victory gave the Titans a 12-1 record for the first time in franchise history.
 
• Sunday's victory assured the Titans of winning at least 12 games for the fourth time under Jeff Fisher.
 
• Sunday's victory gave the Titans their first win over the Browns since 2001.
 
• Sunday's victory gave the Titans a regular season record of 27-33 against the Browns.
 
• Sunday's victory improved Jeff Fisher's career record as head coach (1995-08) to 132-105.
 
• Sunday's victory improved Kerry Collins' regular season record as a starting quarterback to 78-83.
 
• With a 17-yard carry in the second quarter, Chris Johnson became the third franchise rookie to reach the 1,000-yard mark.  In addition to joining Earl Campbell and Eddie George as the only rookies to accomplish the feat, Johnson became the 11th different player in team history to reach 1,000.  In the last 13 seasons, a Titans rusher has reached the mark 11 times (George 7, Chris Brown 2, Travis Henry 1, LenDale White 1).
 
•  With a three-yard touchdown that provided a 14-6 lead in the second quarter, LenDale White scored his 14th touchdown of the season.  His total ties Eddie George's total from 2000 as the second-highest in franchise history.  Only Earl Campbell, with 19 scores in 1979, has scored more rushing touchdowns in a season than White and George.

 
• Ahmard Hall scored his second career touchdown on a 28-yard pass from Kerry Collins on 4th-and-1, giving the Titans a 7-6 lead in the second quarter. It was the second touchdown in the last three weeks for Hall.
 
•  Justin Gage scored his 5th touchdown of the season and the 11th of his career on a 9-yard reception from Kerry Collins, extending Tennessee's lead to 21-6 in the third quarter.

 
• Kerry Collins threw his 10th touchdown of the season and the 184th of his career on a 28-yard pass to Ahmard Hall, giving the Titans a 7-6 lead in the second quarter.
 
•  Kerry Collins threw his 11th touchdown of the season and the 185th of his career on a 9-yard scoring pass to Justin Gage, extending Tennessee's lead to 21-6 in the third quarter.
 
•  Kerry Collins now has thrown two or more touchdown passes in 50 regular season games.
 
•  Michael Griffin intercepted his 5th pass of the season and the 8th of his career when he picked off Ken Dorsey in the third quarter.
 
•  Jacob Ford registered his 5th sack of the season, taking down Ken Dorsey on the final play of the first half.
 
•  Chris Carr registered a career-long 44-yard punt return that set up Chris Johnson's 25-yard TD run on the ensuing play in the fourth quarter.
 
•  Chris Johnson scored his 8th rushing and 9th overall touchdown of the season on a 25-yard run, extending Tennessee's lead to 28-9 in the fourth quarter. 
 
•  Chris Johnson registered his 4th 100-yard rushing game. It was Johnson's second straight 100-yard rushing game.
 
•  LenDale White reached 2,000 career rushing yards.


• Keith Bulluck started his 110th consecutive game, the longest active streak of any Titans player. • Phil Dawson's 41-yard field goal in the first quarter gave him a career-high 28 made field goals on the season.
