NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Titans have promoted Jon Salge to Director of College Scouting, and promoted Brandon Taylor to national scout.

The team has also hired Mike Boni and Tom Roth as area scouts.

The moves come in Jon Robinson's second offseason as general manager.

Salge, who previously served as a college scout, is entering his 12th season with the team.

Prior to spending seven years as a scout, Salge spent two seasons as a pro personnel assistant, evaluating players from the various professional football leagues, performing duties related to tracking and signing free agents. Additionally, he served as one of the team's advance scouts for upcoming opponents.

In his first season with the Titans, Salge helped with the preparation of the college draft board, college and pro point of attack tapes and management of the pro scouting database.

Prior to joining the Titans full-time, Salge was a personnel assistant with the Arena Football League's Nashville Kats.

A graduate of the University of Tennessee with a degree in Sport Management, Salge served as an intern in the school's football recruiting department prior to completing his studies. Later, Salge obtained his Master's degree in Sport Management from Middle Tennessee State University.

Salge replaces Blake Beddingfield.

Taylor, who replaces Tim Ruskell, is entering his 11th season with the Titans. He spent the past seven seasons as a college scout for the Titans and combine scout with National Football Scouting.

Taylor scouted the Midwest in his first season and the Southeast in his second season with National Football Scouting and has served as the Titans Midwest Scout for the past three seasons. During his first four seasons with the Titans as a Pro Scout, he assisted in evaluating players from the various professional football leagues and the administrative duties related to tracking and signing free agents. Additionally, he served as one of the team's advance scouts for upcoming opponents.

Taylor spent three seasons (2004-07) with the Carolina Panthers as a Pro Scouting Assistant. Prior to joining the NFL, he spent two seasons working for the AFL's Columbus Destroyers as the team's Football Operations Assistant in a variety of capacities. He's a graduate from North Carolina A&T State University, and he completed his master's degree in Sports Administration from The Ohio State University.

Roth joins the Titans after 12 years scouting college players for the Buffalo Bills. He joined the Bills in 2003 as a college scouting administrator and became the Bills BLESTO scouting representative after two years. In 2007, Roth became an area scout for the Bills. He also has two years of experience working at the NFL's Player Personnel Department (2001-03).

Boni has 11 years of NFL experience, including nine seasons (2008-16) with the Arizona Cardinals. In his first two seasons with the Cardinals, he was the team's scouting representative of the National Scouting Service. He spent the following seven seasons as an area scout for the team. He spent two years (2006-07) with the Buffalo Bills – one year in pro personnel and one year as a college scouting administrator. Boni started his professional career with the NFL's New York office, serving as an operations intern for NFL Europe from 2002-03.
